The Rural Development Department was established on May 1, 1960. The Rural Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra is working for the all-round development of rural areas.
The main objective of this portal is to implement Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping to all Works of Department which will enables the real time physical work progress and avoid duplicate work at the same location, save money and time.
Uniqueness of the Portal are Real Time tracking of Liabilities across state for different schemes, No idle money at Zilla Parishads, System generated Fund Transfer process by the First-in – First –Out (FIFO) method, Reducing the overall Fiscal Deficit of the State.
